Bolt anchor FWA
ADVANTAGES
The standard anchorage depth achieves high load-bearing capacities. This means that fewer fixing points and smaller anchor plates are required.
The reduced anchorage depth reduces the drill hole depth. This minimises the amount of time needed for installation whilst increasing flexibility.
Available with metric and imperial threads
APPLICATIONS
Steel constructions
Guard rails
Consoles
Ladders
Cable trays
Machines
Staircases
Gates
Façades
INSTALLATION GUIDE
The FWA is suitable for pre-positioned and push-through installation.
Prior to installation, place the hex nut in the optimal position (the drive-in pin projects by approx. 3 mm out of the hex nut).
When the torque is applied, the cone bolt is pulled into the expansion clip and expands it against the drill hole wall.
TECHNICAL DATA
Fischer bolt anchor FWA – a through-fixing for concrete
The FWA bolt anchor is a steel expansion anchor that you install straight through the part being fixed. Drill, clean, tap the anchor in and tighten the nut – no waiting time, so the fixing can carry load immediately.
- Use it for: steel brackets, base plates, cable trays, racks, railings and machinery on solid concrete.
- Not for: brick, hollow block or weak base materials – use a chemical anchor there.
- Tip: keep the drill diameter, embedment depth and tightening torque as per the Fischer data sheet for the size you use.
